Polo Bits
Polo is a specialized sport. Polo is the worlds oldest team sport. Through the centuries special horses have been bred to perform for polo and specialized products have been created for those polo ponies to perform at their optimum. All Sagacious Polo bits are stainless steel, sometimes with copper or sweat iron. These bits are made specifically for polo and are designed for the performance demands of our sport. Gag-Barry Copper Sagacious Polo Bits
Stainless Steel Copper Barry Gag. This is a bit with two mouthpieces spreading the nutcracker action to two areas of the tongue as well as acting on the bars. The copper encourages salivation.

Gag-Big Ring Sagacious Polo Bits
Stainless steel big ring gag medium size mouthpiece. A jointed mouthpiece with a nutcracker action and gag cheeks that help exert poll pressure. This gag is a loose ring and thereby helps with mouthing. Also known as a Balding Gag.

Gag-Eggbut Sagacious Polo horse equipment
Stainless steel egg but gag. A simple Eggbutt snaffle acting on the tongue and bars in conjunction with roundings which create poll pressure. The action of the roundings puts pressure on the corners and upper bars, raising the head. Also known as a Cheltenham Gag.
